- Learn from each other

A record number of new exchange students are studying at Buskerud University College this fall. We have been talking to three newcomers who are trying to get used to Norwegian daily life.

- We definitely have a lot to learn from each other!

Matt Shirley from Texas is sitting in a sofa at the HiBu library, Hønefoss campus, together with Giuseppina Greco from Milan, Italy and Sarah Collard from Liège in Belgium. They haven't spent many days in Norway yet, a country they knew very little about before they arrived. Fortunately, they are not alone. You can notice it once you enter the campus lobby. There's something about the energy in the room when young people from different parts of the world meet. More than ten different nations are represented in Hønefoss this fall, and the three international students we've been talking to really enjoy this.

- I think it's good. We must learn to know each other. We all come from different countries and bring with us our own culture here, says Sarah.
