Buskerud University College offers a broad range of degree programmes and diploma courses across various fields of study. We prepare our students for professional careers in public institutions, within health services, education and management, as well as for technical, financial and administrative positions in trade and industry.
We focus on creating a conducive environment for research at our institution. By working closely with the local community and industry, not only do we aim to keep our programs updated, but to educate our students for the increasingly demanding workplace.
Buskerud University College aims to strengthen and develop our international focus and connections. Our goal is that the professional operations of the college are characterized by international collaboration within all the various fields of specialization through curriculum development and research, as well as student and faculty exchanges.
Students and faculty are encouraged and provided with opportunities to actively participate in international educational forums. Our expertise within open and distance learning and multimedia assist in further developing our international collaborations.
We will continue to increase the international focus in our research and teaching by way of projects, joint degrees and exchanges and thus provide our students with the necessary skills to succeed in an increasingly global workplace.
I hope that you may find interesting opportunities with us, as a student keen to explore Norway as an educational destination or as a potential partner institution seeking an innovative Norwegian institution for international collaboration.
We look forward to welcoming you to Buskerud University College!
My best regards
Rector
Kristin Ormen Johnsen
